Ordered a bag for my wife, it took around 3 weeks to arrive. When it did arrive, the outside box had a HUGE footprint on it and the box that the bag was in is severely dented/damaged. I contacted YSL who say they reply within 24 hours. It's been at least another 2-3 weeks and I've heard nothing. After spending so much money on a bag, I want it to be presented as it should be (in pristine condition) when gifting it to my wife. Hopefully, I hear back soon but i won't hold my breath. I was also preparing to purchase additional pieces but won't be doing so if this issue isn't addressed.

Wishing that I could have saved myself the hassle/disappointment and read these reviews ahead of purchasing my bag. I purchased the medium college directly from the YSL website. The first red flag was the bag arriving with no tissue paper stuffing within the bag. Upon further inspection I noticed the leather on half the bag appeared new and the other half looked older and worn. My inclination is I was sent a bag which had been previously used. To pay that kind of money and receive a bag of such low/poor quality from a company that markets themselves as “high-end” is beyond shameful and deplorable. On top of that, the retail store will not accept your return, only exchanges, thus online orders will need to be shipped back. Thankfully they had the decency to provide a shipping label —hence the 1 star rating—and the bag was sent back in less that 24 hrs, to which I did receive my full refund. I know now where NOT to go should I want to purchase a designer bag in the future. Hopefully this painfully honest review will help others too.
Paid $2500 for a YSL bag which has scratches on the back and a black dye mark on the envelope flap. Have sent two emails for a refund that have so far been ignored. They say returns have to be completed within 30 days and then delay their response on purpose.
I receive my delivery order in perfect condition. It is so well packaged, and it stunned me of how magnificent and luxurious the packaging it is. It is wrapped in high quality double box with great texture and design. The wrapping is extremely need, it includes lots of air wrap that makes it safe. It is amazing and magnificent. I love it. Im so stunned and speechless. The product is amazing as well, the t shirt is extremely silly and high quality. It is so amazing. Im simply amazed of how efficient the wrapping it is that makes us really easy to unwrap and re wrap it again. I love it :)
Bought the SL 06 sneakers in September 2019 and was really happy with them in the beginning. After about 10 months later the gold writing on the shoe went away with just normal wear. Also the glue which connected the shoe from the sole started coming off, rendering the shoe unwearable. Went to the nearest store in Munich and they sent the shoe to Italy so that they can be repaired. They then told me that only the painted writing can be restored but the sole can not be repaired. Also they would charge me 70 Euros for that. Why would I need some shoes with a logo which is intact but the soles coming off??? To be honest, I‘d rather expect a compensation from YSL for the poor quality of their goods. I‘ll never buy anything from them again and I strongly advise other to follow suit, so that YSL starts thinking how customers should be treated.
Fantastic service! I bought a cardholder, belt and shoes all seperately and they arrived together and what a lovely surprise it was! Took 2 weeks to receive my items and they are all perfect. Very happy with the online service provided as well to help select the right size belt. This was my first online purchase with YSL and I’m very happy. I usually go into the store but we’re in lockdown so I nervously tried online and I’m very happy!
they have the most horrified customer service. their website is a myth... very poor service
Normally I buy at saint laurent store but this time I have online purchased a lou bag(not in sale) on the ysl.com site. The amount has been transferred with sofort banking, but I didn't received a confirmation email from ysl.com. I have emailed twice to report it. I have got twice an automatic message that they have received my emails and will reply within one working day. After 5 working day still nobody reply my emails.
I have lost my trust, so I just emailed to cancel my order.
I don't have problems with other brands online before. I hope I am just unlucky, I am very disapointed.
Update 14 July: After 2 weeks still no reply
Update 20 July: after 3 weeks still no reply, no matter how much messages I have sended (7) and what kind of topic I choose at the email YSL.com site.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible! Don't buy on the YSL beauty website. Trust me. Poor customer service and you never get what you ordered.
I don’t know why this website has so many bad reviews. I had a great experience and would definitely buy from them again. As my first big online purchase, I was nervous but Customer Service was always available over e-mail to answer any questions or concerns. I never had a problem getting a response from them within 24 hrs or less. Only putting 4 stars because the bag did take about 3 weeks to arrive, but it’s understandable due to the current situation.

Very frustrating experience shopping the YSLbeautyus.com website. I am a new customer who has never shopped at this website. I tried to place an order and no matter which credit card I am using, it won’t success. Keep getting this: The credit card was rejected due to an issue with your card. Please check your Credit Card Verification Number or contact customer service for further assistance (DM).
Online chat did not work, phone call could not solve my issue. What a crappy system!
